Sea Turtles and Their Diet

The diet of sea turtles consists of both plants and animals that can be found in the seas and oceans.
This means that these kinds of turtles are omnivores. Some of the plants that sea turtles will eat are seaweed and algae.

They will also prey on jellyfish, sponges, crabs, and snails. Sea turtles are rarely put into a situation where they are unable to find food. This is because they eat such a varied diet. These turtles will eat mostly anything that they can find in the ocean that is small enough for them to consume. Sea turtles can have a problem being able to locate food if they are in an area that is no longer inhabitable by sea creatures.
